Job summary

Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN) in Hazleton seeks a dedicated nursing professional to support the Primary Stroke Center and Chest Pain Program. This role focuses on implementing protocols, data management, and program performance improvement in collaboration with network and local leadership.

The candidate should hold a Bachelor’s in Nursing, PA RN license, and 5+ years in medical-surgical or ER nursing with neurology/cardiology background, plus strong project management and communication

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in nursing or related field is required.
RN license in Pennsylvania at hire or soon after.
Experience in medical-surgical or ER nursing with neurology or cardiology background.
Ability to manage multiple projects and data-driven quality initiatives.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

Coordinates activities to support Primary Stroke Center Certification and Chest Pain Accreditation.
Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates care for stroke and chest pain patients.
Delivers patient care based on the medical plan for stroke and chest pain protocols.
Abstracts data into Stroke Registry and Chest Pain registry.
Manages data collection and data management responsibilities.
Develops and delivers presentations to teams supporting program performance improvement.
Ensures compliance with post-survey activities and accreditation standards.
