Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of Approved Nurse Practitioner Program for the specialty.
• Current APRN license required (CT).
• Master’s Degree in Nursing strongly preferred.
• Certification according to CT state law.

Responsibilities

• Provides holistic, quality, and cost-effective advanced practice care for patients and families and participates in medical management to achieve optimal health and reduce illness risk.
• Engages in independent decision-making regarding health care across the lifespan and continuum.
• Part of a multidisciplinary team delivering care for neurology, stroke, and other disorders of the nervous system under physician direction.
