Job summary

Hartford Hospital is part of Hartford HealthCare and seeks a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join the Stroke Program. This role provides high-quality, holistic advanced practice care to patients with complex neurologic and cerebrovascular conditions.

Join a multidisciplinary neuroscience team, report to a leadership structure, and contribute to excellent patient outcomes within a state-of-the-art care framework in Hartford, CT.

Qualifications

• Completion of an ARC-PA accredited program or AGACNP-BC and/or FNP-BC training.
• Certification through NCCPA and current PA or APRN license.
• CT state licensure and board certification required by law.
• Prior neurology or stroke care experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive advanced practice care to patients with neurologic conditions and stroke.
• Exercise independent clinical judgment across lifespan and care continuum.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary neuroscience team including neurology and neurosurgery.
• Report through a matrix structure to Nurse Manager, Nursing Director, or Medical Director.
