Job summary

U.S. Pavement Services, Inc. is seeking a dependable Striping Crew Laborer to support pavement marking on roadways, parking lots, and other paved surfaces.

You will assist with layout, prep, painting, cleanup, and traffic control in outdoor environments. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work outdoors in varying conditions. Latitude to learn, strong work ethic, and willingness to travel for projects outside the local area are valued.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in pavement marking or construction is a plus, but not required
• Ability to lift 50–75 lbs and perform physical labor for extended periods
• Comfortable working outdoors in heat and inclement weather
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions carefully
• Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic
• Valid driver’s license preferred; CDL is a plus
• Must be willing to travel overnight when projects are outside the local area

Responsibilities

• Assist with layout and preparation of work areas for striping, including measuring and chalk lining
• Load, unload, and organize paint, thermoplastic materials, stencils, and equipment
• Operate hand tools and support striping machinery under supervision
• Mask and protect surfaces that do not require markings
• Apply paint or thermoplastic material using sprayers, hand liners, or other tools as directed
• Set up traffic control devices and signage to ensure safe work zones
• Perform cleanup of tools, equipment, and job site at the end of each shift
• Follow instructions from the Foreman and communicate effectively with team members
• Wear proper PPE and comply with all safety requirements
