Job summary

Ericson Manufacturing Company in Willoughby, Ohio is seeking a Stringlight Assembler to join our fast-paced production team. You will perform repetitive assembly tasks, using hand and power tools, fixtures and small presses to build stringlight assemblies prior to overmolding.

The role requires basic math, attention to detail, and the ability to follow CAD drawings and manufacturing procedures. A high school diploma or GED is required, and six months of related experience is preferred.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Six months previous work-related skill, knowledge, or experience preferred.
  • Mechanical assembly experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble stringlight assemblies using hand and power tools and fixtures.
  • Interpret and follow CAD drawings and manufacturing procedures.
  • Inspect, test, and adjust assembled units to meet specifications.
  • Record production data such as labor time and quantities in the ERP system.
  • Maintain clean and organized work stations and report equipment malfunctions.

Stringlight AssemblerWilloughby, OH, USWe are currently searching for Stringlight Assemblers to join our team!The Company: Ericson Manufacturing Company engineers and manufactures temporary power, lighting and electrical safety products for commercial/industrial construction, facility maintenance and other industries. Family owned and operated since 1918, our mission is to safeguard jobsites with quality and innovative solutions with a commitment to products made in the USA that provide ease of use and longevity in the field.Available Shift: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (M – TH)Other Shift Options include:4:00 AM - 2:30 PM (M-TH)5:00 AM - 3:30 PM (M-TH)**General Purpose:**Performs repetitive work-station tasks to produce stringlight assemblies prior to overmolding.**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**Perform any assembly-type function, using hand, power tools, small presses and fixtures.Manipulate cables and wires while staking/terminating electrical sockets according to specifications.Inspect, test, and adjust completed units to ensure that units meet specifications, tolerances, and customer order requirements.Safely operates any equipment needed to perform job within the assembly.Utilize production job schedules, and confer with supervisors/leads, to determine work priorities.Refer to engineering documentation such as CAD drawings and manufacturing procedures.Record production data such labor time and quantities using ERP system.Inform supervisors /leads of equipment malfunctions that need to be addressed.Clean and maintain equipment, machinery, and work stations on a daily basis.Perform related duties as needed by supervisor.**Minimum Qualifications, Education and Certifications:**High school diploma or equivalent required.Six months previous work-related skill, knowledge, or experience preferred.**Physical Requirements:** The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
