MaineHealth's Franklin Hospital seeks a Stress Lab Technician to support the Cardiopulmonary Stress Lab. The role involves technical work and daily operations, including preparing and performing Stress Tests under physician guidance, performing EKGs, applying cardiac monitors, and managing home sleep studies and EKG systems.

The position requires an ECG background with arrhythmia recognition, CCT or equivalent certification, and BLS (or eligibility to obtain within 30 days).

Competenze

• Education: High School diploma preferred.
• License/Certifications: CCT or equivalent; BLS required or obtained within 30 days; NH Medical Technician license if NH
• Experience: One year of ECG technician experience with arrhythmia recognition or equivalent training.

Mansioni

• Perform and assist with Stress Tests under physician/APP guidance.
• Conduct EKGs and apply cardiac monitors.
• Manage Cardiopulmonary Stress Lab systems and daily operations.
• Coordinate home sleep study processes and data collection.
• Maintain and troubleshoot EKG systems and related equipment.

Summary

The Stress Lab Technician role performs technical work and management of daily operations, systems and services in the Cardiopulmonary Stress Lab. This includes preparing and performing Stress Tests under the guidance of the physician/advanced practice practitioner, EKG's, application of cardiac monitors, application of home sleep studies and management of EKG Systems.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

1. Education:. High School diploma preferred.
2. License/Certifications: Certified Cardiographic Technician (CCT) or equivalent training (i.e. Medical Assistant, EMT, Paramedic, C.N.A) required. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date. A New Hampshire Medical Technician license is required for NH Medical Assistants.
3. Experience: One year of experience as an ECG technician with training in arrhythmia recognition or equivalent combination of experience and training required.

The pay range for this position is $21.09to $27.12 per hour.

Compensation for part-time positions isdeterminedon a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
