About the Opportunity

Saratech is seeking a Stress Engineer. You will assist the Engineering Services/Design team with various support duties such as CAD modeling, part model check reviews, industry standard parts specifications and project planning. Additionally, you will have an opportunity to grow your professional network and contribute to the Saratech engineering team.

Qualifications and Experience
  • Stress and fatigue analysis of primary and secondary airframe structure using classical and finite element analysis methods.
  • Support drawing release of airframe details, installations, and assemblies.
  • Develop structural analysis documentation in support of certification efforts.
  • Support manufacturing MRB activities.
  • Interface with suppliers, customers, and colleagues for briefings for technical work content.
  • Perform other related tasks as assigned.
  • BS degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or related discipline.
  • Minimum of ten (12) years stress analysis experience with primary and secondary airframe structure.
  • Proficient in NASTRAN and FEMAP or PATRAN.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Products, Word, Excel, Power Point.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Good oral, written, and presentation skills.
