Job summary

ST Engineering MRAS is seeking a Lead Engineer to oversee stress analysis activities across NPI and sustaining programs. You will coordinate across multiple manufacturing plants and with global engineering teams to deliver robust nacelle and thrust reverser solutions.

The role requires a strong background in structural analysis, leadership of diverse teams, and collaboration with customers and stakeholders to ensure high-quality outcomes in a complex aerospace environment.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience as a stress engineer for aerospace structures (composites and metallic components) using standard hand calculations and FEM.
  • U.S. Person status required or export control authorization.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.

Responsibilities

  • Design, analysis, or evaluation of assigned projects using sound structural engineering principles and meeting program requirements.
  • Provide technical leadership to a team of stress analysts supporting production, improvement, and field support of nacelle and thrust reverser products.
  • Develop and implement robust processes/metrics to improve analysis productivity and quality.
  • Support development of a global engineering resource pool.
  • Communicate with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure a quality product is delivered.
  • Provide technical support to cross-functional teams to resolve manufacturing, supplier, or field issues.
  • Document technical data generated by projects according to policies and procedures.
  • Participate as a presenter or reviewer in technical and program reviews.
