Job summary

Head Baseball Coach

LOCATION

Grand Rapids, MI

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Help plan and administer off-season strength training
• Supervise two lifting sessions per week while classes are in session
• Record daily attendance
• Teach technique and monitor workload
• Report and safety issues or equipment concerns
• Correspond with recruits (e-mail, letters, texts, phone calls)
• Model commitment to Christian character and the Community Covenant standards in behavior and interactions with athletes, coaches, and officials

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES

• Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, or related disciplines
• Prior experience working in strength and conditioning
• Good organizational and communication skills
• Advanced knowledge and teaching experience

PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES

• Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist
• Experience working with Collegiate Athletes
