Job summary

Presbyterian Children’s Homes and Services (PCHAS) seeks a dedicated social service professional to deliver strengths-based services to children and families. The role includes in-home visits, case management, and psychoeducational parenting guidance, with a focus on facilitating family self-sufficiency.

The position requires close collaboration with supervisors and community partners, maintaining comprehensive documentation, and ensuring ethical service delivery in a faith-based setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum BSW or equivalent; two years’ experience with children and families.
• Master’s degree and licensure preferred; clinical licensure encouraged.
• Strong organizational and crisis intervention skills; proficient with client documentation.

Responsibilities

• Learn and implement the PCHAS Way and Philosophy of Care.
• Conduct home visits and strengths-based assessments; develop service plans.
• Provide holistic case management to meet individualized family goals.
• Offer psychoeducational parenting training to families.
• Collaborate with community partners to access resources for families.
• Maintain documentation in CSWIS in an ethical, timely manner.
