Job summary

Paterson Public Schools is seeking coaches for fall sports. Candidates must hold a New Jersey Teacher's Certificate or Substitute Teacher Certificate, with experience verification if the substitute certificate is used.

Coaching experience is preferred but not required. Applicants must be available daily during the fall sports season and hold CPR/AED certifications, plus annual Concussion and Heat wellness certificates. A Sports First Aid course must be completed within one year of hire.

Qualifications

• New Jersey Teacher's Certificate OR Substitute Teacher Certificate; proof of experience required for substitute certificate holder

• Must Obtain a "Heat Acclimatization Awareness and Wellness" certificate or it's equivalent, renewed annually.
• All new coaches will have one year after being hired to successfully complete a course in "Sports First Aid"
• Pending budget availability
