Job summary

The Town of Prosper, Texas, is seeking a dedicated Utility Worker - Streets to join our Public Works team. The position offers a competitive hiring salary range of $40,651.38 to $46,749.09 and benefits beginning within 35 days of employment.

Responsibilities include assisting with repair and replacement of streets, sidewalks, curbs, gutters, stormwater inlets and outfalls, using hand tools, gas-powered tools, and heavy equipment under supervision. On-call after hours may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Possess a valid Class C Driver's License.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Assists with repair and replacement of streets, sidewalks, curbs, gutters, stormwater inlets and outfalls to maintain Town infrastructure.
• Operates hand tools, gas-powered tools and heavy equipment under supervision to complete tasks.
• On-call during certain periods and respond to requests after hours if necessary.
