Job summary

City of Mill Creek’s Public Works Department is seeking a full-time member to support streets and parks maintenance across City facilities and equipment. You will work in varied weather, traffic conditions, and collaborate with teammates and supervisors to complete assigned tasks.

Ideal candidates hold a high school diploma or GED with at least 2 years of related maintenance experience and a valid Washington driver’s license. CDL is preferred; overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform essential maintenance tasks on streets, parks and facilities.
• Experience with power tools and equipment operation.
• Must possess valid Washington State driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform street, storm drainage, park and facility maintenance tasks using tools and equipment.
• Operate and maintain dump trucks, flatbeds, bucket trucks, and street sweeper.
• Inspect, troubleshoot and repair equipment and vehicles; monitor compliance with City service levels.
