Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 1 year general construction/maintenance experience or equivalent.
• Ability to operate multiple software platforms and follow city procedures.
• Must communicate effectively with staff and the public, especially in emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe working environment for self and others according to guidelines.
• Maintain assigned areas, sites, and equipment in clean, orderly condition.
• Keep records of service, maintenance, and equipment; adjust schedules and document procedures.
• Operate a variety of hand tools and power equipment.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in storm patrol and emergency response.
• Plan work methods, materials, and assignments for projects including traffic control and staffing.
