Job summary

Team Fishel is seeking Streetlight Technicians for our Groveland, FL area. You will perform skilled work in the construction, maintenance, and repair of streetlight circuits, including troubleshooting and replacing heads, bulbs, and related components.

The role requires operating bucket and digger trucks and holding or obtaining a CDL-A within six months. Team Fishel offers strong training, competitive pay, health insurance, a 401k plan, and profit sharing.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL-A or ability to obtain one within 6 months.
• Experience or ability to work with overhead streetlight circuits and associated equipment.
• Ability to operate bucket and digger trucks safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, install, and remove overhead streetlight and guard light circuits.
• Perform maintenance and repairs on energized and de-energized distribution lines and equipment.
• Adhere to safety protocols while working in the field and around traffic and pedestrians.

Description

Team Fishel, the Best Choice in utility construction since 1936, is hiring Streetlight Technicians for our Groveland, FL (Orlando area) office.

Our Streetlight Technicians perform skilled work in the construction, maintenance, and repair of energized and de-energized overhead and underground electrical distribution lines and equipment. Duties include but are not limited to the following: Troubleshooting, repairing, installing, and removing overhead streetlight and guard light circuits; replacement of street and guard light heads, bulbs, photoelectric eyes, and refractors.

This position requires the ability to operate bucket and digger trucks. Candidates should hold a valid CDL-A or be able to gain one during the first 6 months of employment.
