Job summary

Team Fishel in Efland, NC is hiring Class C Streetlight Technicians to install, repair, and maintain energized and de-energized streetlight circuits. A CDL-A is strongly preferred and bucket/digger truck operation is required.

Qualifications

• CDL-A license is required or must be obtained within 6 months of employment.
• Ability to operate bucket and digger trucks.
• Bilingual English/Spanish highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform skilled work in construction, maintenance and repair of distribution lines and equipment (overhead and underground).
• Troubleshooting, repairing, installing, and removing streetlight circuits and related components.
• Replacement of street/light heads, bulbs, photosensors, refractors; other duties as assigned.

Description

Team Fishel , the Best Choice Employer in the utility construction business, is hiring Class C Streetlight Technicians for our Efland, NC location. A Class A CDL is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform skilled work in the construction, maintenance and repair of energized and de-energized overhead and underground electrical distribution lines and equipment.

Troubleshooting, repairing, installing, and removing overhead streetlight and guard light circuits

Replacement of street and guard light heads, bulbs, photo electric eyes, and refractors.

Other duties as assigned

Requirements & Qualifications

Candidates should hold a valid CDL-A or be able to gain one during the first 6 months of employment.

Requires the ability to operate bucket and digger truck

Bilingual (English/Spanish) is highly preferred
