Job summary

Transdev in Cincinnati is seeking an experienced driver to operate streetcars, ensuring safe, reliable passenger service and professional conduct.

You will perform pre- and post-trip inspections, communicate with passengers per FCC rules, and support on-the-job training for student operators.

This full-time role offers competitive hourly pay with training pay, vacation, sick leave, medical/dental/vision benefits after 90 days, and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• 21 years or older
• Valid state license
• Minimum 3 years of driving experience
• Excellent communication & customer service skills
• Must be able to work shifts or flexible schedules
• Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable

Responsibilities

• Operates a streetcar in revenue, non-revenue service and the streetcar storage yard in compliance with rules and procedures.
• Interacts with the public and coworkers professionally at all times.
• Operates radio systems and announces station stops per FCC regulations.
• Performs pre- and post-trip inspections and reports maintenance issues.
• Provides on-the-job instruction to student operators as required.
• Completes all required shift reports and adheres to safety protocols and schedules.
• Upholds seat belt and emergency preparedness protocols and ensures passenger safety.
