Job summary

Brooklyn Sports & Entertainment is seeking a Street Team Member to serve as a frontline ambassador for the Brooklyn Nets at community events and home games at Barclays Center. You will promote tickets, merchandise, and team initiatives through engaging, in-person activations across Brooklyn, distributing promotional items, and supporting event setup for a high-energy fan experience.

Qualifications

• Enthusiastic, outgoing, and comfortable engaging with diverse members of the public.
• Passion for basketball, Brooklyn culture, and community outreach.
• Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and game days, including playoff and special events.
• Reliable, punctual, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Bilingual or multilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
• Prior experience in event marketing, street teams, brand ambassadorship, or customer-facing roles is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Represent the Brooklyn Nets at a variety of events including local festivals, street fairs, basketball tournaments, community events, and home games at Barclays Center.
• Promote ticket offers, merchandise, and team initiatives through engaging, in-person activations across Brooklyn.
• Distribute promotional items and marketing collateral while interacting with fans and community members.
• Support event setup and breakdown, ensuring a high-quality and professional fan experience at every touchpoint.
• Collect fan data and feedback through surveys and digital forms in support of marketing and business development efforts.
• Create a positive, high-energy atmosphere at all activations to elevate the Brooklyn Nets brand.
• Collaborate closely with the Marketing team to execute strategic grassroots campaigns.
• Act as a knowledgeable resource for fans regarding game schedules, ticket information, and team news.

Summary

COMPENSATION:

$20 / hour
