Job summary

Brooklyn Sports & Entertainment is seeking energetic Level Up Squad members to engage Nets fans during home games at Barclays Center. You’ll be on the concourse and within the venue, helping with giveaways and game presentation to fuel a vibrant gameday atmosphere.

No formal education required; passion for live entertainment is welcome. Ability to be on your feet for extended periods and available for at least 70% of the 2026–2027 home games is expected.

• Being attentive and enthusiastic during all parts of the game.
• Leading t-shirt tosses and giveaways in the stands.
• Assisting with on-court contests and live shots. *At the discretion of their supervisor and captains.
• Constantly looking for sections that need extra attention and energy. Providing surprise and delight moments.
• Engaging fans through signs and hype prompter lines during different moments of a game.
• Being brand ambassadors to the organization and always maintaining a high level of professionalism.
• Must be available for at least 70% of Brooklyn Nets home games during the 2026 – 2027 season.

Summary

The purpose behind this role is to engage all Brooklyn Nets fans whether you are a lifelong fan or even if you have only attended one game. This interactive team will bring all the energy and passion in creating a home court advantage. You will see this group up in the 200s, on the concourse, as well as the 100s. Level Up Squad’s presence will be all-encompassing with the goal of maximum engagement and ensuring that everyone feels a part of the gameday atmosphere. There will be an emphasis to elevate the experience in the upper-level sections through giveaways, intentional interactions, and Game Presentation contests/initiatives. Keeping the energy flowing up there throughout the duration of the game is very important. Additionally, this opportunity comes with learning back-of-house event production and game presentation experience on the NBA level.

What You Will Bring

Who You Are

• Maintaining consistent energy flow.
• Being friendly and willing to interact with fans of all backgrounds ages
• Has a comfort level leading large groups of fans in chants and traditions, as directed
• Experience using microphone to speak to a crowd is great but not required
• Being open to constructive feedback.
• Must be able to be on your feet for extended periods of time.
• Knowledge of basketball rules is preferred but not required.

Compensation

$18.00 - $20.00 / hour

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Travel Requirements: Traveling to Barclays Center for game day 2.5 hours before tip-off.
