Job summary

The City of Dunn Public Works Department is seeking applicants for a Seasonal Maintenance Worker position. Responsibilities include mowing, weed eating, edging, cutting limbs, and cleaning downtown streets and sidewalks. Applicants must be able to drive trucks and operate light to medium equipment; a valid NC Driver License is required.

Starting pay is $14.24 per hour with open until filled deadline. This is a temporary/seasonal role with equal opportunity employment and a drug-free workplace.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Employee performs varied tasks to help maintain and preserve the upkeep and appearance of our Downtown streets, sidewalks and alleyways which would include: mowing, weed eating, edging, cutting limbs, picking up trash, removing fallen leaves, filling potholes, ect.

• Minimum Requirements All candidates must be able to drive trucks and operate light and medium equipment needed to complete jobs. Must possess a valid NC Driver License.
• Starting Salary Range $14.24 per hour
