Job summary

The City of Maypearl is seeking a Street Maintenance worker to perform maintenance and repair of city streets, parking lots, drainage facilities, and rights-of-way. You will assist with pothole repair, crack sealing, overlays, and related tasks, operating various equipment as part of a crew.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED, and candidates should be comfortable working weekends and holidays, with CDL preferred and a Texas Class C license.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; some construction-related experience preferred.
• Knowledge of backhoe, crack sealer, dump truck, front-end loader, jackhammer and various hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Assists in maintenance and repair operations including pothole repair, crack sealing, and drainage work.
• Operates equipment used in maintenance and repair of city streets and rights-of-way.
• Respond to after-hours emergencies as needed.
• Work weekends, holidays and special events as needed.
