The Streets Maintenance Technician's duties include operating equipment, vehicles, and tools to build, repair, or maintain streets, storm drains, culverts, and other public works projects. Responsibilities also include asphalt repair, concrete pouring and finishing, rough carpentry for forms, and responding to winter storm operations on a 24-hour basis, including snow plowing and salting.

Required: Minimum one year of relevant experience or equivalent. Valid driver’s license required. Certifications such as Class B CDL, Confined Space, Forklift, and Chemical Spill preferred or to be obtained within 180 days.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge of traffic laws, construction materials, and methods; ability to communicate effectively; good judgment; ability to work under supervision and in teams; basic computer skills; and reliable attendance.
