Job summary

City of Ann Arbor is seeking a Public Works Technician - Water to safely operate equipment and maintain streets in the Ann Arbor area. The role requires a high school diploma or GED and valid CDL endorsements, with A endorsement within six months of hire.

Experience in road maintenance or utilities is preferred, and union employment applies. The starting hourly rate is 23.50 USD, with wage increases after hire based on length of service, advancement, and contractual factors.

Qualifications

• CDL Endorsement B with Air Brake required; CDL A endorsement within 6 months of hire preferred.
• Experience in road maintenance, underground utility construction or landscape construction preferred.
