The City of Dickinson is seeking a Street Maintenance Operator to help keep streets and public spaces safe, functional, and well‑maintained. You’ll operate specialized equipment and contribute to daily maintenance tasks in our community.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, up to 1 year of relevant experience, a valid Driver’s License, and the ability to obtain a North Dakota Class A CDL with endorsements within the stated timelines.

The City of Dickinson is looking for a Street Maintenance Operator to play a vital role in keeping our streets and public spaces safe, functional, and well-maintained. Pay: $24.24 - $26.76 per hour (DOE)

Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts (Mon – Thurs or Tues – Fri) with a rotating on‑call schedule

What You’ll Need:

• Education: High School Diploma or GED

• Experience: Up to 1 year of relevant experience

• License: Valid Driver’s License

  • Obtain a North Dakota Class A Commercial Learner’s Permit within 3 months of hire

  • Earn your Class A Commercial Driver’s License within 6 months of hire (Automatic Transmission, Tanker, and Air Brake endorsements required)
