The City of Dickinson is seeking a Street Maintenance Operator to keep streets and public spaces safe and well-maintained. The position requires operating specialized equipment and earning required ND licenses and certifications within set timelines. The pay rate is $24.24 – $26.76 per hour (DOE), with four 10-hour shifts and an on-call rotation.

What You’ll Need:

• Education:High School Diploma or GED

• Experience:Up to 1 year of relevant experience

• License:Valid Driver’s License

  • Obtain a North Dakota Class A Commercial Learner’s Permit within 3 months of hire

  • Earn your Class A Commercial Driver’s License within 6 months of hire (Automatic Transmission, Tanker, and Air Brake endorsements required)

• Road Scholar I Certification - must obtain within 2 years
• Forklift Certification– must obtain within 90 days of hire
