The City of Burlington is seeking a dedicated worker to assist in maintaining, installing and repairing streets, sidewalks, and related infrastructure. This on-site role involves daily field work, operating equipment, and interacting with the public to keep our city safe and clean.
Responsibilities include pothole repair, drainage improvements, snow removal, and helping with sewer and storm systems. A valid driver’s license and ability to work outdoors in all weather are required.
This position is responsible for assisting in maintaining, installing and repairing safe and clean City streets and sidewalks. This position also performs construction, maintenance and repair work on City streets, grounds, sidewalks, buildings, sewers and storm collection and drainage systems. This position requires the ability to work days up to 40 hours/week.
