Job summary

Springfield Township seeks a full-time Street Laborer to maintain and improve township roads, utilities, equipment, and facilities. Candidates should have experience in road repair and snowplow operations, and must be willing to be on call 24 hours as needed.

STREET LABORER POSITION

Springfield Township is accepting applications for a full-time Street Laborer position. This position requires work in maintenance and improvement of township roads, utilities, equipment and facilities.

Applicants should have experience in maintenance and road repair, which involves operations and maintenance of vehicles and equipment, experience in snowplow operations and will be required to be on call 24 hours and available for road work during off work hours, weekends and holidays as needed.

Must have relevant experience or the ability to be trained. High School graduate or equivalent and will have to pass a drug test. Possession of either a clean and valid PA-CDL Class B license.

Salary is commensurate to experience.
