Under general supervision, you will operate hand and power tools, assist with traffic control, and ensure safety, reliability, and compliance in all tasks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Valid Texas Class C Driver's License required.
• Knowledge of work zone safety practices, traffic control, and job site setup.
• Operation and care of light and heavy construction equipment is expected.

Responsibilities

• Assist in installation, repair, and maintenance of city streets, curbs, sidewalks, and storm sewer systems.
• Perform patching, sealing, grading, and concrete work as assigned.
• Set up traffic control and safety signage for work zones.
• Operate and maintain hand and pneumatic tools; complete inspection forms and maintain records.
• Follow safety rules, read manuals, and use PPE at all times.
• Maintain regular attendance and be available for emergencies.
