Job summary

City of Maypearl is seeking a maintenance worker to operate street maintenance tools and equipment, perform routine inspections, and assist with road work, drainage, and sign installations. You will be responsible for vehicle checks, material handling, and supporting after-hours on-call needs.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, at least one year of maintenance experience, and a valid Texas driver's license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of general maintenance experience, or an approved equivalent combination of experience and training.
• Valid Texas Driver’s License with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Operate tools and machinery safely, including power tools and street maintenance equipment.
• Load, transport, and unload light equipment and materials for projects.
• Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on vehicles and equipment.
• Maintain streets, drainage systems, and road infrastructure; load and repair signs and markings.
