Job summary

Merck & Co., Inc. in the United States seeks an Associate Director, Strategy Realization & Transformation Enablement to govern transformation programs, translate priorities into actionable roadmaps, and realize measurable value.

You will partner with senior leaders to ensure governance, sequencing, and leadership visibility, manage cross-functional dependencies, and drive adoption of new ways of working across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Master’s Degree preferred.
• 7+ years of professional work experience.
• Experience in Program Management and Project Management.
• Experience with agile ways of working and test-and-learn approaches.
• Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and coordination for complex transformation initiatives with clear objectives, milestones, timelines, and outcomes.
• Translate priorities into practical execution plans, integrated roadmaps, and governance-ready materials.
• Define scope, operating rhythms, and stakeholder alignment for transformation design and mobilization.
• Establish governance forums, sponsor updates, leadership reviews, and decision logs.
