Cogent is seeking a Business Operations & Strategy Manager to join our fully distributed corporate team. You will bridge high-level corporate strategy with rigorous operational execution, owning cross-functional initiatives and driving structural efficiency.

This remote-first role offers direct exposure to executives, with ownership over emergent priorities and opportunities to influence talent strategy, brand ecosystems, and operational improvements.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years in consulting, IB, product mgmt, or startup/founder roles
• Ambiguity navigation in fast-moving environments
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Collaborative relationship-building across teams
• High ownership mindset with bias to action

Responsibilities

• Partner with founders and leaders to drive strategic and operational initiatives
• Conduct operational reviews to identify gaps and improvements
• Contribute to talent operations including hiring strategy and recruiting projects
• Help build Cogent’s community and brand through events, partnerships, content, and ecosystem engagement
• Take ownership of emergent strategic priorities and drive them to impact
