Dow Jones in New York City is seeking a Manager, Strategy & Operations - Brand & Experiences to guide strategic and operational initiatives across the Events portfolio.
Reporting to the Associate Director, Strategy & Operations, you will translate business priorities into actionable plans, manage cross-functional workstreams, and deliver executive-level presentations and ROI reporting to senior leadership.
About the Team Each year, Dow Jones produces 200+ events globally across all of its brands. This multi-million dollar business connects our audiences with the newsmakers, ideas, industries, and communities they read about across our publications and products.
Dow Jones has ambitious growth plans for the Events business, with a focus on scaling existing franchises, developing new products, attracting new and diverse audiences, strengthening communities, and building new revenue streams across WSJ, Consumer, B2B, Risk, Energy, Journal House, Custom, and premium brand experiences.
Dow Jones Events is dedicated to creating trusted, high-quality experiences that inform, connect, and engage our audiences in person and virtually. The team leads the event space through editorial authority, commercial innovation, immersive experiences, and globally relevant programming. We are regularly expanding existing franchises, developing new event products across Dow Jones brands, identifying new partnership opportunities, and building stronger event concepts that drive sponsorship revenue, audience growth, and long‑term business value.
Working in our Midtown Manhattan office three days a week and reporting to the Associate Director, Strategy & Operations, the Manager, Strategy & Operations - Brand & Experiences will drive key strategic and operational initiatives across the Dow Jones Events business. The role will contribute to the growth and evolution of the Events portfolio through portfolio planning, product and franchise development, business case and proposal creation, competitive research, business reporting, calendar management, and cross‑functional initiatives.
Working closely with the Strategy & Operations team and Events leadership, the Manager will translate business priorities into actionable plans, recommendations, timelines, and workstreams. This person will evaluate new opportunities, bring structure and analytical rigor to strategic initiatives, and coordinate across teams to advance growth and improve operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, analytical, collaborative, and comfortable managing multiple priorities across a matrixed organization.
