Job summary

OpenAI seeks a Strategy & Operations Lead for Korea, reporting to the General Manager, Korea. The role is based in Seoul with a hybrid model (3 days in office). You will translate global strategy into regional execution and build scalable operating systems to drive growth.

You will partner with global leadership to prioritize initiatives, set KPIs, and ensure disciplined execution across markets and functions, enabling rapid, steady progress toward ambitious goals.

• Supporting market entry strategies and operational readiness for Korea.

About the Role

We are looking for a Strategy & Operations Lead to lead and scale operational excellence in Korea. Reporting to the General Manager, Korea, this leader will work hand in hand with the General Manager to translate global strategy into regional execution, ensure operating discipline across markets and functions, and help the business scale with consistency, speed, and rigor. This person will act as a key bridge between global leadership and regional teams, bringing clarity to priorities, building scalable operating systems, and ensuring the region is set up to deliver against ambitious business goals while keeping the long-term opportunity in mind. This role is based in Seoul, Korea and we use a hybrid model of 3 days in office.
