Enova International is seeking a Strategy & Operations intern for a 10-week summer program in Chicago. The role offers hybrid work with in-office 3 days per week, starting June 15, 2027 and ending August 19, 2027.

You will support core P&Ls, automate processes, and contribute to strategic initiatives to improve customer experience. Ideal candidates are pursuing undergrad or masters in Engineering, Business, Finance, or economics with strong Excel modeling and SQL skills, plus excellent

Strategy & Operations Internship Summer 2027 (Hybrid)

About the role:

As a Strategy & Operations intern, you will directly support one of Enova’s core P&Ls and tackle projects that ensure Enova is operating at peak performance, and continuously improving so our customers can have the best possible experience. Over a period of 10 weeks, you will partake in projects that can range from short-term immediate impact projects, like automating a business process, to long term strategic initiatives, such as a new product launch. The best part? Our team is big enough to have the resources to successfully scale the business, but small enough that a single intern has the autonomy to make a meaningful impact. That means you can make your mark.

As a member of the Enova internship program, you will have the benefit of networking with other interns across the company through in-person team outings, lunches, and events. This summer, our interns went on an architecture tour, volunteered at the Chicago Food Depository, had an event at Ace Bounce for ping pong, and wrapped up the summer with a presentation about their summer project(s).

This internship will begin June 15, 2027 - August 19, 2027. This role is hybrid and eligible candidates must be able to work in the Chicago office 3 days per week.

Requirements:

• Local to the Chicagoland area or willing to relocate

• Been working toward undergraduate or master’s degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, Economics, or other quantitative degrees, or equivalent experience.
• Advanced Excel modeling experience required. Prefer proficiency with SQL.
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and effectively to a variety of audiences.
• High energy, team player, creative thinker, and strategic influencer.
• Demonstrated experience in working with broad cross-functional teams.

Compensation

This is a paid internship. The budgeted hourly rate for this position is $30.00 per hour for students with a Bachelors degree and $35.00 per hour for students with a Masters degree.
