Job summary

Human Capital Education (HCE) is seeking an Analyst for Strategy and Operations Consulting in Washington, DC. The role supports not-for-profit colleges and universities with benchmarking, financial analysis, and market research.

You will work closely with a small team, gain hands-on client exposure, and contribute to proposals and deliverables with data-driven insights. Travel up to 30% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, economics, finance, or related field is preferred.
• Strong data collection, validation, and analysis capabilities.
• Experience with financial modeling or data analytics is desirable.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to work in teams and independently.

Responsibilities

• Support the consulting team on client engagements including benchmarking, financial analysis, report writing, and market research.
• Analyze primary and secondary data from higher education clients to support project goals.
• Maintain respectful client relationships and respond to basic inquiries.
• Prepare graphics and presentations using PowerPoint and Excel.
• Contribute to internal and client meetings with clear communication and professionalism.
• Stay current on higher education market trends and industry knowledge.
• Support business development activities including RFP searches and client outreach.
