Job summary

Kindredventures is seeking a versatile operator to help build the company behind its mission. This high-ownership, high-autonomy role focuses on structure, analysis, and execution across strategy, operations, and scale-ready systems.

You will drive critical initiatives, build finance and analytics infrastructure, and own special projects from fundraising to internal operations, delivering impact for founders and the broader team.

Qualifications

Our mission is general causal intelligence; AI that is capable of (1) predicting the future and (2) identifying the actions to alter it.

To achieve this breakthrough, we are building a Large Physics foundation Model (LPM) because physical systems, unlike text or images, are governed by verifiable cause and effect. We believe that scaling on physics will enable an understanding of causality required to predict and control physical systems, starting with weather.

Our founding team has built and deployed AI against the physical world in robotics, drug discovery, and particle physics at institutions like DeepMind, Waymo, Cruise, Insitro, Nabla Bio, and CERN.

We're looking for a versatile operator to help build the company behind the mission. This is a high-ownership, high-autonomy role for someone who wants to work on the company's most important problems — whatever they happen to be that week. Your mission is to be a force multiplier for the founders: bringing structure, analysis, and execution to everything from company strategy to the systems that let us scale.

Responsibilities
