A growing investment management firm with over $22 billion+ AUM focused on hedge fund and private equity strategies. 200+ employees

Location: NYC | Hybrid |WFH 2 days.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the C-suite executing on firm wide strategic initiatives through cross-functional collaboration, project execution and strategic planning
• Drive cross-functional projects across trading, risk, operations, and compliance
• Conduct market research, develop financial models, and analyze data to inform decision-making
• Create impactful presentations to convey insights and recommendations to senior leadership
• Structure and manage engagements with consultants and vendors (from selection to contract negotiation)
• Support Board meeting preparation and follow-ups
• Create a 3-year business and financial model shared with senior leadership and the board
• Partner with the investment team on due diligence of equity analytics platforms
• Design and implement a firm-wide technology roadmap with an external consultant
• Benchmark fund cost vs. peers for investor reporting

Requirements:

• 4-6+ years of relevant experience from top-tier consulting firms (BCG, Bain, etc.)
• Additional experience at a hedge fund, alternative asset manager, or investment bank required
• Successful track record managing strategic and operational projects
• Strong academic background in business, finance, or related fields; advanced degree preferred
• Highly proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and other business tools (experience with BI tools a plus)
• Exceptional communicator with the ability to influence across teams
