Qualifications

• US Citizenship required.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.

• Currently attending a 4-year college or university or 2+2 program; ideal rising junior or above.
• Able to work 40 hours per week for a minimum of 10 weeks in the summer.
• Provide school details and unofficial transcripts with application.
• Familiarity with business/economics coursework preferred.
• Excel and PowerPoint proficiency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support all aspects of HII’s organic and inorganic strategy.
• Participate in strategy projects spanning M&A transaction support, defense budget analysis, go-to-market strategy, new market development, acquisition integration, and operational and technology strategy initiatives.
• Contribute to major strategy initiatives.
• Conduct financial modeling, valuation, and business-case analysis.
• Develop briefing and review materials.
• Perform market research.
• Assist in project management and due diligence.
• Cultivate relationships across all levels of the organization.
