Job summary

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Nebraska is seeking a Strategy & Innovation Intern to apply internal and external data analytics for researching market opportunities. You’ll work with product and marketing teams and gain exposure across the company, building integrity, dependability, and relationships.

Hybrid work schedule with on-site days in Omaha at the Aksarben Village office, within commuting distance from May 26 to July 30, 2027.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Business, Economics, Data Science or related field.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Interest in market research, measurement projects, and public speaking.
• Skills in organizing/analyzing data and identifying meaningful patterns.
• The ability to meet or exceed the attendance and timeliness requirements of their departments.
• The ability to work well in a team environment, and be capable of building and maintaining positive relationships with other staff, departments, and customers.

The Strategy & Innovation Intern will have the opportunity to apply internal and external data analytics in researching market opportunities for our business. Primary partners would be from the Product & Marketing department, and this role would also have exposure to stakeholders throughout the company. Integrity, dependability and relationship-building are essential to success in this role.

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Nebraska is a Partner of Choice for the Nebraska University System. Our Interns work a hybrid schedule and spend some days working on-site at our Omaha office located in Aksarben Village. Therefore, you will need to live within commuting distance from Wednesday, May 26 – Friday, July 30, 2027.

To Be Considered For This Position You Must Have

• Exposure using data tools such as Power BI, SQL, Databricks or AI tools such as Copilot
