Job summary

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Nebraska is seeking a Strategy & Innovation Intern to apply internal and external data analytics for researching market opportunities. You’ll work with product and marketing teams and gain exposure across the company, building integrity, dependability, and relationships.

Hybrid work schedule with on-site days in Omaha at the Aksarben Village office, within commuting distance from May 26 to July 30, 2027.

Qualifications

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Business, Economics, Data Science or related field.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Interest in market research, measurement projects, and public speaking.
Skills in organizing/analyzing data and identifying meaningful patterns.
The ability to meet or exceed the attendance and timeliness requirements of their departments.
The ability to work well in a team environment, and be capable of building and maintaining positive relationships with other staff, departments, and customers.

Responsibilities

Explore new market opportunities for products, programs, and technologies.
Assist with primary and secondary research supporting customer insights and market intelligence.
Help build enabling tools to synthesize quantitative and qualitative data.
Collaborate with stakeholders to advance business goals.
Support ad-hoc requests and other duties as assigned.
