Job summary

Equitable’s Commercial Strategy internship supports strategic planning and analysis for Retirement and Wealth Management. You will work with the Head of Commercial Strategy and the President’s Chief of Staff on market research, analytics, and executive-ready deliverables.

Responsibilities include market research, dashboard support, and cross-functional collaboration across finance, IT, and HR. The program runs nine weeks starting in June 2026 with a hybrid schedule in New York, NY, at $22/hour.

Qualifications

• Rising senior or rising junior pursuing a four-year undergrad degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or related field.
• Strong proficiency in Excel (modeling, pivot tables, lookups) and PowerPoint (executive storytelling, visuals).
• Structured problem solving, excellent written and verbal communication, and comfort with ambiguity.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams, meet deadlines, and thrive in a hybrid, collaborative environment.
• Ability to commit to the full duration of the program.

Responsibilities

• Conduct primary and secondary market research and synthesize insights with clear recommendations.
• Analyze business performance metrics and support dashboard development for leadership.
• Partner with finance, commercial, IT and HR to drive key initiatives.
• Draft presentations, briefing materials and executive memos with the Chief of Staff team.
• Assist with project management routines across concurrent initiatives.
• Support planning and logistics for leadership meetings and off-sites.
