Veeva Systems is looking to hire a strategy leader for OpenData, our Customer Reference Data product. We are seeking a strong data expert and leader who can navigate the convergence of sales, marketing, products, and services into a cohesive market vision. This position will be responsible for the long-term success of Veeva OpenData by collaborating across teams to drive results.

What You'll Do
  1. Evangelize the value of Veeva OpenData in the marketplace.
  2. Collaborate with sales teams to define sales strategies and support key deals.
  3. Define and own clear value proposition metrics for assigned markets.
  4. Champion key themes and high-level requirements for OpenData to Veeva product teams.
  5. Manage strategic relationships with data partners.
  6. Support research and analysis for thought leadership reports, white papers, articles, blogs, tweets, and presentations.
Requirements
  1. Based on the East Coast or within the Eastern Standard Time Zone.
  2. 10+ years of work experience.
  3. 5+ years of consulting and data management experience in Life Sciences.
  4. Knowledge of Customer Reference Data in Life Sciences.
  5. Experience influencing and managing executive-level customers.
  6. Proven leadership and influence across matrixed teams.
  7. Experience with commercial aspects of the Life Sciences industry, including Field Sales or Field Marketing.
  8. Additional benefits include medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, flexible PTO, paid holidays, and a 1% charitable giving program.
Compensation
  1. Base pay ranges from $150,000 to $265,000.
  2. Compensation is based on experience, location, and qualifications, and may include bonuses and stock options.
