Job summary

Stout Strategy is seeking a Consulting Intern to join our Professional Services or Industrials practices for a 10-week internship in the Strategy group. You will collect, analyze, and synthesize data to support engagements with Fortune 500 clients, contributing to research, insights, and client deliverables.

You will work on hypothesis generation, primary and secondary research, and develop Excel-based analyses.

Qualifications

Enrollment in a full-time academic program (BS or BA in progress) with an expected graduation date of May 2028 and a GPA of at least 3.5
Proficiency with Microsoft Office including PowerPoint and Excel
Strong communication, writing, and analytical skills
Willingness to learn, adapt, and take ownership
Familiarity with generative AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini) is a plus
Foreign language abilities are a plus

Responsibilities

Support in collecting, analyzing, and synthesizing data for client engagements
Assist in hypothesis generation to inform research and analytical approaches
Conduct comprehensive secondary research and provide differentiated insights
Participate in executive-level primary research interviews
Design and develop Excel-based analyses and models (e.g., market models, P&L forecasts)
Synthesize insights and recommendations for client deliverables with visuals
Leverage AI tools to enhance research and analysis
Engage in networking and collaborate with team mates
