Job summary

Stout is seeking Associate Consultants to join Stout Strategy, contributing to client engagements with rigorous research and data-driven strategic insights. You will collect and analyze data, synthesize findings into practical recommendations, and support M&A diligence for PE clients.

You will collaborate across teams, develop financial and strategic analyses, and leverage AI tools to enhance problem-solving in a fast-paced, boutique-style environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with strong academic record (min 3.5 GPA)
• Prior research/consulting or corporate development internship experience preferred
• Aptitude for networking and executive-level interviewing
• Strong analytical, business acumen, and written/oral communication
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in MS Office; experience with data visualization and modeling a plus

Responsibilities

• Conduct primary research through interviews and data gathering from industry experts
• Synthesize insights into actionable recommendations for clients
• Support M&A diligence and market sizing activities
• Collaborate with internal teams and client stakeholders on deliverables
