Job summary

Renaissance Strategic Advisors, LLC, an aerospace-focused advisory firm, is seeking a Commercial Aerospace Analyst in our Arlington, VA office. The role focuses on research, financial modeling, and market analysis to support client engagements.

You will create and maintain Excel-based fleet forecast models, track industry trends (commercial, GA, and new mobility), distill data into concise analyses, and present findings to leadership. 1–3+ years in aerospace and a relevant degree are preferred.

Qualifications

• 1–3+ years of work experience in the aerospace sector.
• Bachelor's or higher degree in Engineering or business/economics preferred.
• Strong business writing and client communication.
• Ability to perform quantitative analysis and data visualization.

Primary day-to-day responsibilities - Commercial Aerospace Analyst

• Perform primary- and secondary-source research using a variety of inputs, including industry-specific databases, trade and general news, company reports, industry reports, and other sources as needed
• Create, manage, and maintain excel-based aircraft fleet forecast market models and platform databases
• Track relevant commercial aerospace, business & GA, advanced air mobility (AAM) and rotary-wing technology, competitive and industry trends
• Assist in distilling data into discrete analyses to be incorporated into larger reports
• Deliver/communicate reports and findings to client management and/or executive leadership
• Support senior leadership business development efforts with creative industry thought leadership ideas and visual analyses

Preferred qualifications

• 1-3+ years of work experience in the aerospace sector (whether in industry or consulting roles)
• Strong academic background with Bachelor's or higher degree Engineering or business/economics preferred
• Strong acumen in business writing and communication with clients and team members
• Comfort with rudimentary data analysis and visualization methods
