Job summary

The Clearing, Inc. in Washington, DC area seeks an experienced Senior Consultant to manage project lanes, optimize resources, and deliver high-quality client deliverables. You will forecast financial performance, support invoicing, and collaborate with leaders across engagements.

Responsibilities include stakeholder interviews, readiness assessments, and facilitating client meetings to drive outcomes. Travel to DC/Northern Virginia client sites is expected; PMP or Change Management credentials

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance required.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• 4+ years in management consulting or related client-facing environment.
• Strong critical thinking/problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including client-facing.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management.
• Willingness to travel to DC/Northern Virginia client sites; occasional travel outside these regions (5%).
• Desirable PMP and/or Change Management certification (Prosci).

Responsibilities

• Manage project lane(s) or small projects to completion by scoping tasks and managing resources (time, budget, people).
• Forecast and track lane/project financial performance and contribute to invoicing reviews and approvals.
• Develop and manage the production of high-quality client-facing deliverables.
• Support planning and execution of stakeholder engagement activities (interviews, working sessions, readiness assessments).
• Facilitate and participate in client-facing meetings to achieve outcomes.
• Coordinate and design meetings; capture knowledge during sessions.
• Build relationships with stakeholders to assess readiness, address resistance, and promote change adoption.
• Develop communications to support user understanding, engagement, and adoption.
• Develop trusted professional relationships with clients.
• Support research, data gathering, and analysis to inform client solutions; present results clearly.
• Showcase critical thinking to evaluate needs and propose refined approaches.
• Participate in business development and networking; contribute to proposals.
