Job summary

Howden is seeking a detail-oriented Strategy and Engagement Associate to bolster Howden Markets US with data analytics, carrier management, and strategic initiatives. You will develop analytics capabilities, help with contract and commission tracking, and drive go-to-market efforts across carrier relationships.

You will coordinate with product, vertical, and carrier teams, deliver data-driven insights, and contribute to building scalable processes while strengthening the team’s value

What is the role?

ROLE SUMMARY

We are seeking a detail-oriented Strategy and Engagement Associate to support Howden Markets US across data and analytics, Carrier management, project execution, and strategic initiatives. This role will help develop our analytics and insight capabilities, support contract and commission tracking, assist with panels and facilities coordination, and help drive go-to-market strategy across our carrier and product relationships. The Strategy and Engagement Associate will play a critical role in strengthening the team’s value proposition, improving operational processes, and supporting continued growth across Howden Markets US.

What will you be doing?

• Supporting Carrier management and strategic partner engagement

• Assisting with panels, facilities, and market-facing initiatives

• Helping coordinate cross-functional priorities across product, vertical, and carrier teams

• Developing data-driven insights, including share-of-wallet / portfolio analysis and market survey support

• Supporting contract review, tracking, and commission program reporting

• Identifying process improvements and helping build scalable team infrastructure

• Deliver enterprise-level analytics to support business decision-making and operational strategy

• Manage and oversee contract review processes, ensuring accuracy and consistency

• Lead and maintain project pipelines, tracking progress and ensuring timely execution

• Support the development and execution of go-to-market strategies

• Contribute to building and refining the team’s value proposition

• Identify and drive enhancements to tools, processes, and analytics capabilities

• Ensure accurate tracking and reporting of commission programs

• Partner cross-functionally to strengthen operational alignment across Howden Markets US

• Provide insights and recommendations through data analysis to support business growth

What are we looking for?

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related field

• Experience working with enterprise-level datasets and delivering actionable insights

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage complex data and processes

• Experience managing project pipelines and coordinating cross-functional initiatives

• Familiarity with contract review or operational governance processes is preferred

• Ability to translate data into clear, business-relevant insights

• Strong communication and collaboration skills across multiple stakeholders

• Experience supporting go-to-market strategies or commercial initiatives is a plus

• Demonstrated ability to identify process improvements and drive enhancements

• Proficiency in analytics tools, reporting platforms, or data visualization tools

Compensation and Benefits

The expected base salary range for this role is $120,000 - $140,000; actual base salary will be determined based on factors including candidate experience and work location. This role is classified as exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).

In addition to a competitive base salary, employees are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus. Howden also offers a variety of benefits and programs, subject to eligibility, including:
