Job summary

Stripe’s Strategy & Analytics (S&A) team is seeking a data-driven analyst to deliver critical insights, build metrics and dashboards, and partner with leadership to shape business strategy across global operations.

You will wrangle large datasets with SQL, communicate with executives, and work cross-functionally with Ops, Finance, Data Science, Product/Engineering to drive planning and performance throughout the year in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of analytical/strategic roles in management consulting, Operations, Support, Risk or Financial Services.

Responsibilities

• Wrangle large, highly complex datasets using SQL into actionable insights and build metrics and dashboards to track health of user-facing and internal teams.
• Communicate with executives: create narratives and documents to influence senior Operations leadership and Stripe executive team decision making.
• Stakeholder management: influence and drive cross-functional change by partnering with stakeholders across a wide internal network of globally distributed teams.
• Drive operational excellence: design, optimize and drive operational reviews and rhythm of the business; guide planning and goal-setting processes for the business area.
• Support planning: assist forecasting/planning processes for Financial Crimes to enable strategic decisions.
