Job summary

Reyes Holdings in Illinois seeks an Intern, Network Strategy to join projects combining operations research, optimization, and simulation. You will help identify distribution network improvements and support growth strategies, collaborating with multiple functions to validate modelling scenarios.

Gain hands-on experience with Llamasoft supply chain software and Power BI for scenario modelling, and prepare presentations of your modelling outputs for internal and client stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in the listed fields or pursuing related degree.
• Knowledge of distribution operations and supply chain planning.
• High proficiency in Excel.
• Understanding of simulation versus optimization.
• Analytical and conceptual thinking with fast-paced problem solving.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Ability to translate operational activities into models and specifications.
• Experience with SQL, Alteryx, Visual Studio.
• Experience with data visualization tools (PowerBI, Tableau, OneClick).
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Develop scenario modelling representing current network or potential scenarios.
• Ensure data and assumptions used are vetted by business leads.
• Evaluate model outputs including physical flows, operational metrics, and financial outcomes.
• Prepare internal and client presentations of modelling outputs.
