Job summary

PIMCO, a global leader in fixed income, seeks an Associate or Senior Associate in New York to support the Business Strategy & Analytics team. You will drive data-informed decisions, translate business needs into technical plans, and partner with data and technology teams to deliver strategic insights for GWM.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Data Science, or related technical field.
• 3-6 years in project management, business analysis, or data analytics in asset management or financial services.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and Excel, with exposure to data visualization tools.
• Synthesize structured and unstructured data into insights.
• Strong communication and collaboration across cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like Smartsheet, Jira, Confluence, MS Office.
• Consulting or investment management experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive data-informed decisions, optimize processes, and deliver strategic insights for Global Wealth Management.
• Translate business objectives into actionable technical plans and collaborate with data/tech teams.
• Ensure data quality by validating client, flow, and asset data used in reporting infrastructure.
• Support senior stakeholders with clear communication and updates on projects.
• Lead cross-functional projects and contribute to business operations and strategy execution.
